About Kellie
Do you find yourself wondering how those intricate rhythm guitar parts in Canadian folk songs actually come together? After 13 years on the Canadian folk circuit and graduating from Humber, I guide students through the exact strumming patterns and fingerpicking styles they hear at the Toronto Folk Festival. My teaching helps you bridge the gap between listening to tracks and physically playing the music you love yourself.
Electric technique and reading sheet music are just as much a part of my toolkit as traditional acoustic styles. Thousands of students have navigated these techniques under my guidance, and I just keep finding new ways to make the process simple.
