About Leslie
"You deserve a guide who keeps guitar practice grounded and practical. My 13 years of experience as a full-time tutor allow me to refine your approach to lead guitar and acoustic technique. I help students grasp music theory, blues progressions, barre chords, and electric technique through clear instruction.
These methods have helped me support hundreds of players during my career. You will find that I prioritise musical clarity above all else in our time together.
My primary goal is ensuring the progress you make is something you can actually hear. I stay energetic and thoughtful while we work through these technical elements. It is rewarding to see players develop their skills and confidence as they study with me."

"Struggling to play your favourite tracks often stems from overly complex sheet music that misses the mark. I fix this by creating simplified arrangements based on your specific song requests.
My background includes an Artist Diploma in Guitar Performance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire. This formal training supports a practical mindset where we prioritise the sounds you want to create.
I have spent 13 years refining how to translate complicated concepts into accessible playing styles for my students. Everything we cover relates back to the mechanics of the guitar.
We focus on the instrument rather than theory for the sake of theory. You will find that our sessions are efficient and directed towards your musical goals. Reach out when you are ready to start playing these simplified arrangements."
