About Jordan
Hi, I'm Jordan (or Jordy if you like). For the last 15 years, I’ve been performing and recording music professionally, and teaching for 10 years. I have great rapport with my students, we have fun learning and playing, although sometimes it’s necessary to hunker down and study hard for an upcoming exam or gig. In my downtime, I'm always practicing, (or sometimes gaming) and I do a lot of home recording, producing songs of my own. I hang out with bandmates and practice for upcoming gigs, which is always fun. I take my work seriously, but always try my best to make things fun and interesting to keep my students engaged.

With over 10 years of experience teaching and 15 years of hands-on experience in music production, touring, and live gig logistics, I offer a comprehensive and versatile approach to music instruction. I specialize in teaching acoustic and electric guitar, with proficiency in a wide range of styles including fingerstyle, blues, rock, bluegrass, jazz, country, heavy metal, and many more. My extensive touring background allows me to offer invaluable insight into the realities of live performance, helping students navigate the challenges of the road, from managing performance anxiety to troubleshooting gear issues, and mastering the logistics of live gigs. I don’t just teach you how to play — I focus on helping you understand your instrument, how it works, and how to adapt your playing to various styles and settings. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player looking to refine your skills, I can help you develop a deeper connection with the guitar, bass, or drums. I also have experience working with children and tailor lessons to meet the unique needs of each student. My schedule is flexible, and I’m happy to negotiate pricing to ensure accessibility.
