About Elliott
Teaching serves as a way to map out the abstract patterns that govern our world. I often think back to the quiet glow of monitors during my 6 years as a quant when explaining why arithmetic matters so much. My path took me from Princeton math and a Master of Science in CS to the classroom where I now support kids and working professionals. Having guided 193 students, I treat every session as a chance to simplify complex conceptual learning or mental math.
I prioritize clear, steady progress over rushing through material. My experience in high-stakes finance helps me show students how coordinate geometry links to the real world. I enjoy helping adults find confidence in their number sense after years of feeling intimidated by it.
