About Shanay
I am a dedicated computer programming tutor with over 6 years of experience teaching college students. During this time, I have successfully guided 150–200 students in mastering programming languages like Java, C, Python, SQL, and foundational web development. My goal is not just to teach code but to help students truly understand programming concepts, develop strong problem-solving skills, and apply their knowledge to real-world projects.
My teaching philosophy is based on clear communication, empathy, and flexibility. I adapt my lessons to suit each student’s pace and learning style, ensuring that everyone feels confident and supported. I also value cultural sensitivity and integrity, creating an inclusive and respectful learning environment. Whether a student is preparing for exams, completing assignments, or building skills for a career in technology, I guide them every step of the way.
I take pride in my students’ achievements and aim to make programming engaging and practical. From breaking down complex concepts into easy-to-understand steps to providing hands-on exercises and real-life examples, my approach ensures students not only learn but also enjoy the process.
