About Carolyn
My name is Caroline Alejo, and I am a qualified English and Social Science educator with over 15 years of teaching experience. I specialize in helping students build confidence and fluency through student-centered, interactive lessons that make learning practical, creative, and enjoyable.
I use a constructivist approach, guiding learners to practice real-life communication rather than memorizing rules. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level and personality, with techniques such as role-play, storytelling, and art-based activities to make English feel natural and engaging.
A typical session includes a warm-up conversation, focused vocabulary and grammar practice, interactive role-play or creative tasks, and a short reflection to set clear goals for the next lesson.
What sets me apart is my authentic, humanized teaching style—I balance professionalism with warmth, and I place special emphasis on confidence-building, especially for shy or hesitant learners.
My lessons are designed for children (7–12), teenagers, and adults (A1–B2 levels) who want practical English for school, travel, or everyday use, and for learners seeking a safe, encouraging space to practice naturally.

I believe learning English should feel natural, comfortable, and empowering. My method is constructivist and student-centered—I guide learners to build confidence by practicing real-life communication rather than memorizing rules. I integrate interactive techniques such as role-play, storytelling, art-based activities, and guided conversations to make lessons engaging and meaningful.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Warm-up (5 minutes): Simple conversation or fun activity to ease into English.
Core Learning (20 minutes): Focus on a theme (e.g., introductions, daily routines, creative storytelling). Includes vocabulary, collocations, and sentence practice.
Interactive Practice (10 minutes): Games, role-play, or art-based tasks to apply learning in a relaxed way.
Reflection & Wrap-up (5 minutes): Review key points, encourage self-expression, and set a small goal for next time.
Each lesson is adapted to the learner’s personality and level—for shy students, I use gentle encouragement and creative outlets like drawing or storytelling to help them open up.
