About Tess
I am a dedicated Physics tutor with 11 years of teaching experience and a Master's degree. I enjoy simplifying challenging scientific concepts into easy-to-understand lessons that students can relate to everyday life. My teaching approach focuses on patience, clarity, and building a strong conceptual foundation that helps students perform better academically.
I have experience teaching students from different educational backgrounds and learning abilities. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods accordingly. My lessons focus on improving confidence, strengthening problem-solving skills, and helping students overcome fear or confusion surrounding complex physics topics.
I believe learning becomes successful when students actively participate and enjoy the process. I motivate students to think critically, ask questions, and apply concepts independently. I teach important topics such as Mechanics, Electricity, Magnetism, Optics, Thermodynamics, and Modern Physics using step-by-step explanations. Students learn how formulas work instead of memorizing them, helping them build a strong understanding and long-term confidence.
Every lesson is personalized according to the student's current level, learning speed, and academic goals. I provide clear examples, diagrams, and practice questions to help students understand concepts effectively. Special attention is given to improving numerical problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and exam-writing techniques that students can apply in school and competitive examinations.
I create a friendly and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions without hesitation. Regular assessments, revision sessions, and feedback help track progress and strengthen weaker areas. My goal is to help students enjoy physics while developing confidence, accuracy, and independent learning skills that benefit them throughout their academic journey.
