About Ivy
I am a passionate English tutor with 9 years of teaching experience and a Master’s Degree in English Language and Literature. I have worked with children, teenagers, university students, and professionals, helping them strengthen their language skills through personalised instruction and practical communication activities.
My teaching approach is student-centred, flexible, and encouraging. I recognise that every learner progresses differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit individual needs and goals. By creating a welcoming and interactive classroom environment, I help students develop confidence, fluency, and a genuine enjoyment of learning English.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading contemporary literature, writing, exploring different cultures, and participating in language exchange communities. These interests allow me to bring authentic examples, cultural insights, and engaging discussions into my lessons, making every class practical, enriching, and inspiring for students.
