About Rogan
I’m Rog, a guitarist with over 18 years of playing experience and 10 years of dedicated music theory study. Over the years, I’ve played in multiple bands, released a bunch of original music, and built a strong presence online through my YouTube channel, where I share guitar lessons with a growing audience. I also run Rog’s Guitar School, where I’ve had the privilege of teaching a wide range of students, from complete beginners to advanced players, and watching them achieve their goals. We've taken young and old students and given them a great passion for their playing. With a healthy student base and years of hands-on teaching experience, I know how to adapt my approach to suit any and every learner. Music has always been my passion, and teaching allows me to pass that passion on to others. My aim is not just to teach you guitar, but to help you enjoy the process, grow in confidence, and unlock your full potential as a musician.

I teach guitar to students of all ages and levels, tailoring each lesson to your unique needs and goals. Whether you’re 7 or 70, and picking up a guitar for the very first time or looking to refine advanced skills, I’ll help you take the next step on your musical journey!
My lessons are fun, engaging, and creativity-driven, with a welcoming and comfortable lesson space where students feel at home. Each session balances practical playing with theory, so you’ll not only know what to play but also why it works. Complex ideas are explained in clear, manageable ways, leaving you motivated and confident after every lesson. We'll also work through concepts at your pace, ensuring you get the most out of our time together.
Along the way, I provide a wide range of extra materials to support your progress, from ebooks I’ve written, to exercises, songs, and tablature of your favourite music. You’ll always have plenty to practice between lessons, ensuring steady growth and no stagnation.
Learning guitar with me is about more than just playing chords. It’s about building confidence, understanding music, and enjoying every step of the journey.
