About Charles
I have been a member of SAG/AFTRA since 1994 and a working actor for over two decades. I have been a commercial session director since 2000, shaping the performances of literally tens of thousands of actors (it is hard to say that modestly). My teaching career began in 1996 and I began upping the ante within the past few years when I joined the SAG Conservatory.

This class is for people of all levels and experiences in the acting industry, especially those just starting. Sessions are virtual with small groups or one-on-one. A typical class is about 3 hours, in which we will go over scenes, lines, and tips on the industry and having a successful audition. My students view themselves as a "family" and, as acting can be an emotionally taxing profession, especially when working on heavy scenes, I prioritize the well-being and comfortability of my students.

Charles truly cares about his students. It is clear in every lesson he teaches. He is more than just a teacher of acting but a therapist and father figure. He goes in-depth with scenes and what is working and what can be improved and he can also assign scenes if an actor wants to work more specifically on a skill. He is amazing, a must-recommend for any new actor starting in Hollywood.
