About Ruma

I am a qualified and experienced English teacher with a Master’s degree in English (M.A.) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), along with over 20 years of teaching experience.

Over the years, I have taught students from different age groups and learning levels, helping them strengthen their English and become more confident communicators. My approach is patient, supportive, and tailored to the individual needs of each student.

I believe that learning English is not simply about memorizing grammar rules or vocabulary. It is about understanding the language, expressing ideas clearly, and developing the confidence to use it in everyday life.

With my academic background and extensive teaching experience, I aim to make every lesson meaningful, engaging, and suited to the student's goals.

About the lesson

My classes are designed to make learning English comfortable, engaging, and genuinely useful. With over 20 years of teaching experience, I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to their individual level, goals, and pace.

Whether a student needs support with schoolwork, wants to strengthen grammar and writing, prepare for exams, or become more confident in speaking English, I focus on building a strong foundation while making the learning process enjoyable.

Rather than simply memorizing rules, students are encouraged to understand the language and use it confidently in real situations. I believe in patient guidance, regular practice, and creating an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from their mistakes.

My aim is not just to help students score better, but to help them become confident and effective users of English.
