About Nina
I am a piano teacher with over 9 years of experience and an Associate of Music in Piano Skills. I specialize in preparing students for church worship, theater accompaniment, and professional wedding band performances.
My teaching style is personalized, supportive, and motivating. I focus on building both technical skill and musical confidence. Students learn accompaniment techniques, improvisation, and practical strategies for performing in ensembles.
I work with students on sight-reading, chord progressions, and rhythmic accuracy. Lessons include guidance for following conductors, supporting singers, and adapting to multiple musical genres. I emphasize real-world practice to prepare students for live performance.
Whether performing in worship, theater, or weddings, I help students become versatile and confident pianists. Lessons balance technical drills with creative, engaging exercises.
I encourage students to develop their own style, enjoy performing, and approach music with confidence. Together, we explore performance, technique, and musical expression. I invite students to start lessons and achieve their performance goals.

I focus on teaching music theory in a way that is practical and easy to understand. Lessons cover chord progressions, inversions, harmonic analysis, and theory fundamentals, all applied directly on the keyboard.
I work with exam takers and classical performers, providing personalized exercises to reinforce understanding. Students learn to see patterns, connect theory to pieces they play, and apply harmonic concepts creatively. Lessons combine explanation with hands-on practice.
I emphasize applying theory to improvisation, composition, and expressive playing. Students explore how chords and progressions create tension, resolution, and emotional impact. Exercises include analyzing repertoire, building progressions, and experimenting with variations.
The goal is to give students a strong theoretical foundation that strengthens performance and creativity. Students gain confidence, practical skills, and musical insight. Together, we make theory engaging, useful, and immediately applicable.
