About Umer
I’m currently applying to study Dentistry and scored 2400 in the UCAT.
With three years of tutoring experience, I now run a tuition company supporting 12 students. Having recently completed my A-levels, I understand the challenges students face and the revision techniques that make a difference. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, ability and goals and take place online through Google Meet. I use my iPad to explain content visually and work through exam questions together, allowing students to follow each step, ask questions and actively participate.
I explain difficult concepts clearly, then use targeted practice to strengthen understanding and show students how to apply their knowledge. With a strong understanding of exam board specifications and mark schemes, I help students develop exam technique and avoid common mistakes.
Each lesson focuses on identifying gaps, building confidence and making progress. I also share effective revision methods to support independent study, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
