About Rosie
Rosie is a professional musician, based in York. After completing her MA in Piano Performance at the University of York. Whilst studying there, she held the Accompanying Assistantship for the music department.
Rosie also plays double bass and has a wealth of experience from playing with local orchestras and choral societies, in addition to tutoring for youth orchestra courses such as Yorchestra and Hull Heros.
She teaches piano and lower strings at two schools in the area, one state and one independent.
When not teaching, Rosie plays for various Musical Theatre companies in York either as the rehearsal pianist or in the pit on Keys or Double/Electric Bass. She is also one half of Sleeping Little Lions, releasing 'baby sleep-focus' albums aimed at helping young ones drift off to sleep through the use of calming piano music.
