About OLORUNTOBI

Energetic and passionate Yoruba Language Educator and a cultural advocate with a strong background in Linguistics using national curriculum guidelines, with a focus on language fluency, tonal accuracy, literature, cultural values, and traditions.
As a linguist, I am equipped with all the rudiments of language acquisition and learning. You should be able to gain mastery of the use of Yoruba language after a few tutorials' sessions. I hear people say Yoruba is boring and all. Nonsense! Have you met me? Yoruba is fun to learn, especially if I'm your teacher. You can bank on that.
Beyond the classroom I'm a content creator and you know learning never ends, so I'm a lifelong learner Currently expanding my skills in web development to explore digital avenues for indigenous language preservation. I'm looking forward to connecting with students, Parents, schools, organizations and digital platforms that value indigenous knowledge and wants to make it accessible to the next generation. As well as people who need professional Yoruba lecture either onsite or most especially, online. Thank you for your time and I'm looking forward to your enrollment.

About the lesson

I specialize in helping my students, irrespective of your background knowledge of the language to not only master the use of Yoruba language but to also develop a deep appreciation for its rich culture through engaging lesson plans, Literature, Interactive sessions and digital learning tools. A key area of my expertise is teaching and simplifying the logic behind the complexities of tonal marks which is a crucial, foundational and fundamental element for fluency, reading, writing and comprehension in Yoruba Language which is a solid foundation to build upon. I excel at developing comprehensive lesson plans, designing interesting and interactive classroom activities and also instilling cultural values in my students thereby creating an immersive environment. Weaving cultural stories into lessons, I’ve seen firsthand how students connect deeply with their roots when language is taught with care and creativity.

She is so enthusiastic about learning the language and a very fast learner. However, there are a couple of sounds she is unable to pronounce perfectly yet, but I trust her to get it pretty soon.
