Musical profile
My name is José Luis Pantoja, I am 36 years old and I have been a musician since I was thirteen, from a family also of musicians and singers. I started in 1998 to play the guitar and sing in choirs, where I discovered my love and my dedication to music. I have knowledge of choral singing, guitar, keyboard, organ, accompaniment, chanting, solfeggio, music theory, vocalization and music in English.

I am a teacher totally committed to teaching, I consider myself enthusiastic, motivated and responsible in all areas of my work. I am very accomplished and always willing to make an effort and give my best so that all my students can have the best possible experience in their learning process. I am punctual and dedicated and my priority is to exploit and develop the potential of all my students each day and in each class.

Teaching Experience
I started giving private guitar and singing lessons at the age of 21 and have worked in several schools giving music classes, which has taught me that nothing is absolute or definitive and that each student or each group It requires an approach and special care regarding the learning process and that each one has to look for how it can be facilitated to learn faster and better. Every day something new is learned, in each class and in each interaction, the most important thing is the effort and the desire that everyone give their best.
In my experience as a teacher, I have learned that patience achieves everything, but that you also have to combine it, with practice, effort, sacrifice and a constant dedication to music, singing, or the instrument, so that this results clear and show real progress.
My educational approach and musical pedagogy
For me the teaching of music should always include the various aspects, both theoretical and practical, without focusing only on one aspect or neglect another but with dynamic, practical and fun exercises that neither bore nor overwhelm the student, but rather motivate, help and surprise them to learn and improve every day, covering all areas of learning and that this becomes complete and integral.
The classes should be mostly practical, agile and dynamic, explaining everything, but putting it into practice, that there is never a session of only theory, but that it is always accompanied by the performance, both vocal and instrumental. This will ensure the attention and motivation of the student, not only to be listening to the teacher but also to interact with him and with his classmates and make the class dynamic at all times.
