About Charles
Many players hit a wall when their chord transitions feel sluggish or clumsy. This is a technical hurdle I address immediately. We will clean up your fingerpicking, master barre chords, and refine your lead guitar work through structured practice.
My 13 years of experience allow me to break down complex scales and modes into manageable segments for any student. If you have a specific song you want to play, I will turn your requests into simplified arrangements that match your current skill level. We also cover reading sheet music, tabs, and essential tuning maintenance.

Strumming a guitar felt like breathing back when I started playing in Colombia. It was natural. My teaching style today rests on the bolero, flamenco, and chacarera traditions that shaped my early ears. Armed with a Bachelor of Music in Popular Music from the Queensland Conservatorium and a Licenciatura from Argentina, I bring 13 years of experience to our sessions.
I have guided 406 students through the nuances of the fretboard. This technical foundation supports the artistic vision I provide to teens, hobbyists, and performance-focused students. Advanced learners often find that my perspective shifts how they hear their own melodies.
