About Kevin
Warm-up exercises sound like a hum filling the quiet space of the studio before we dive into the mechanics of your voice. We focus on vocal health and care to ensure you can sing safely for years to come. I provide a diagnostic vocal assessment for every new student to map out your specific range extension and genre styling goals.
Stage fear management is just as important as sight singing or diction work in my view. I bring my 11 years of experience to these sessions to help you navigate pop, classical, or musical theater repertoire. You will find that addressing breathing control and articulation creates a much stronger foundation for your performance style.

Technique often matters less than the courage it takes to open your mouth and sing. I have spent 11 years guiding individuals from Grade 3 newcomers to adults finding their footing in Canada through music and language together. My teaching character is rooted in the belief that music serves as a vital tool for personal expression and settlement. I hold a BM Music Education degree which informs how I support teens and returning learners.
