About Carmela
Growing up in Lima, I fell in love with the rhythmic pulse of Latin music early on. Truthfully, I sometimes forget how long I have been playing guitar. I have spent 13 years refining my craft across diverse stages in Australia.
My journey includes 341 students who have joined me on this path. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Music from AIM. Teaching is a natural extension of my own performance life.

Struggling to transition between complex power chords is a common hurdle for many players. Honestly, even I found barre chords frustrating when I first started learning them. We will work on fingerpicking patterns and electric technique to build your confidence.
