About Shannon
I absolutely adore teaching and tutoring, and I’ve taught at both Notre Dame and the University of Michigan. Having taught a range of theory, writing, and statistics, both in person, and virtually. I know how important it is to adapt to any situation. Life happens. Injuries, illnesses and grief are all factors that influence learning. It’s my responsibility to create a learning environment that is both focused, and flexible. Approaching teaching with a linear mindset can work well. However, it’s important to also understand how unpredictable events impact your studies.

Individualized plans are key to my teaching style. If you’re a singer, let’s sing the formulas! If you’re naturally a visual learner, then let’s focus more on drawing or using diagrams.
