About Katherine
"Teaching music for 13 years remains my primary focus. I work with everyone from nervous beginners to advanced students preparing for grade exams. My training includes an Artist Diploma in Guitar Performance from Queensland Conservatorium.
Helping others find their voice involves teaching rhythm guitar, songwriting, and scales. I also cover lead guitar, reading sheet music, improvisation, and barre chords. Providing a supportive environment helps me meet students exactly where they are currently standing."

"You will find that the technical foundation of my teaching comes from 13 years of playing. Lessons usually begin by addressing your specific goals for the instrument.
We dedicate time to rhythm guitar and lead improvisation during the hour. My degree from Queensland Conservatorium informs how I explain complex concepts clearly. A practice module with every lesson helps you keep momentum throughout the week. I truly enjoy seeing students progress from simple chords to complex soloing performances."
