About Teressa
When you walk into my studio, you notice immediately that I prioritise your personal progress above all else. You will find that my background, including a Master of Music in Voice from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, informs the technical precision I apply to guitar instruction.
I have spent 6 years guiding 263 students through the complexities of music theory, reading sheet music, and proper tuning and maintenance. Whether we are working on power chords, ear training, or rhythm guitar, I make sure the path toward your musical goals remains clear. Mastering improvisation and soloing or fine-tuning your fingerpicking style requires a patient ear and a structured approach. I look forward to helping you refine your technique until you reach your own version of musical success.

The metallic ring of a freshly tuned string serves as our starting point for every session. I prioritise slow, deliberate pacing to ensure that you integrate new fingerings without unnecessary tension. Feedback is constant. Clear communication allows me to adjust my 6 years of teaching experience to match your specific learning speed.
I provide free chord charts and tab sheets shared after each class to assist your progress. Your growth as a musician remains the primary focus of our time together.
