About Eddie
Hi! I'm Eddie, a friendly and patient English teacher based in South Africa.
I love helping students build confidence in speaking, improve their fluency, and sound more natural in real conversations. Whether you're preparing for exams, work, or just want to enjoy using English, my lessons are practical, engaging, and tailored to your goals.
Expect clear explanations, lots of speaking practice, and a relaxed atmosphere with a touch of South African warmth and real-life stories. My accent is easy to understand, and I’m flexible with scheduling across different time zones.

I believe teaching is about guiding you to find the answers for yourself so you can truly understand the work.
My unique methodology focuses on discovery led learning; instead of just giving you the answers, I use a "detective" approach, asking questions like "Why do you think so?" or "How can we solve this?" to help you use your own smarts to figure things out.
I am proficient in English and offer lessons that are relaxed, fun, and designed to build lasting confidence. In a typical lesson, you can expect a supportive environment where we tackle challenges together through critical thinking and practical problem-solving.
My lessons are aimed at all levels, from beginners to more advanced students, who want to move beyond memorization and really master their subjects.
