About Shaquille
I am a young software development apprenticeship graduate with a strong academic background in Maths and a passion for problem-solving, logical thinking, and helping others learn. Having achieved a Grade 8 in GCSE Maths and a Grade B at A-Level, I understand both the challenge and importance of building strong mathematical foundations and confidence.
I want to teach because I enjoy helping students overcome difficulties, develop their understanding, and realise that Maths becomes much more manageable when concepts are explained clearly and patiently. My background in software development has further strengthened my analytical thinking and ability to break complex problems into simple, structured steps.
I aim to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes, and building confidence in their abilities over time.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, learning style, and current level of understanding. I aim to create a calm and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through challenges without pressure.
I focus on breaking down difficult topics into clear, manageable steps and strengthening foundational understanding before progressing to more advanced questions. Alongside improving subject knowledge, I aim to build confidence, problem-solving ability, and independent thinking so that students feel more comfortable approaching Maths both in lessons and in exams.
