About Flavio
While my perfect command of Italian and my solid command of French allow me to meet the student's needs, my classes will be conducted in English as much as possible - depending of course on the level. My typical 1 hour lesson will include:
- A quick review of the last lesson and homework, if applicable
- A reading exercise with quiz in the appendix aimed at enriching vocabulary, adjusting pronunciation and cadence and learn new grammatical structures / syntax, followed by
- A conversational exercise aimed at reinforcing the fluency of new vocabulary use and listening skills
- Homework usually includes exercises for production Written
A 2 hour course would go deeper into each of these areas, including exercises in listening to youtube videos with subsequent conversation to ensure understanding of the content.
Compatible with the level, the subjects of the courses will be adapted to the interests of the student.

I graduated from a Masters in International Relations, located in Brussels after an internship at the European Commission. I have a consistent background in teaching English, including teaching Yazidi refugee classes in Greece of all skill levels, from absolute beginners to students fluent enough to have a conversation. In addition, having myself been a student with an excellent French teacher on Superprof, I learned several teaching tools that I found extremely effective for my own progress, which I now look forward to sharing with new students. With a fluency in English in my native language and a rich vocabulary, I can not only teach the grammar and syntactic structures that form the basis of the language, but also the nuances of formal and informal speech, cultural references, etc.
