About THABANG

I am a passionate and dedicated BCom Financial Accounting student at the University of the Western Cape (UWC). I am friendly, patient, funny and fun to learn with! I make Accounting simple and enjoyable through practical examples and easy explanations.

I believe learning should never be boring. My goal is to create a relaxed, supportive environment where students feel confident, improve their marks and enjoy Accounting. With me, learning is both fun and productive!

About the lesson

I am a passionate and patient Accounting tutor currently studying towards a Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Accounting at the University of the Western Cape (UWC). My goal is to help students understand Accounting, improve their marks and become more confident in the subject.

My Teaching Methodology

I believe that every student learns differently. I therefore adjust my teaching methods to suit each student's needs and learning pace. I explain difficult Accounting concepts in simple English, use practical examples and guide students through calculations step by step.

What makes my lessons unique is my friendly approach, patience and focus on helping students understand the reasons behind Accounting principles instead of simply memorising answers.

Languages

I offer lessons in English and use simple explanations to make learning easier.

What to Expect From My Lessons

- Clear explanations of Accounting concepts.
- Step-by-step guidance through calculations and questions.
- Assistance with homework, assignments and exam preparation.
- Practice using past examination papers.
- Helpful tips on answering Accounting questions and improving marks.
- A comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions freely.

Who My Lessons Are For

My lessons are aimed at Grade 9–12 learners who need assistance with Accounting, whether they are struggling with the basics, preparing for examinations or aiming to achieve excellent marks.

I can assist with topics such as the Accounting equation, journals, ledgers, trial balances, financial statements, reconciliations and other important Accounting concepts.

My Goal

My goal is not just to help students pass Accounting, but to help them understand it, enjoy learning it and develop the confidence to solve Accounting problems independently.
