Born in Brazil and raised in Japan from the age of four, I have internalized the unique communication styles of Japanese society, such as 'reading the air' (kuuki wo yomu) and using indirect, circular language. Currently living in the United States, I also have a clear understanding of Western norms. I can explain the cultural background behind why Japanese people communicate the way they do, making it easy to understand.
