About Ruby

I have over 5 years of experience as a Mathematics tutor and hold an MPhil in Mathematics. My teaching focuses on helping students overcome anxiety and gain confidence in math. I believe in a holistic approach that combines skill-building with emotional support. I use growth mindset techniques to encourage persistence. Lessons are paced according to the student’s needs. Positive reinforcement creates a welcoming learning environment. I especially enjoy supporting learners who have struggled or feel overwhelmed. My method focuses on clarity, simplicity, and confidence. I want students to enjoy mathematics, not fear it. Let’s work together to transform your relationship with math and reveal your true potential.

About the lesson

My teaching method blends ease and logic to make mathematics approachable. I work on algebra, trigonometry, geometry, discrete mathematics, coding logic, and algorithmic thinking. I apply real-world programming analogies to illustrate concepts. Lessons are paced according to each learner’s comfort level. I emphasize understanding the "why" behind every concept. This creates stronger problem-solving skills. I encourage clear communication of computational challenges. My approach builds both confidence and skill. I support students in excelling in exams, assignments, and practical applications. Mathematics becomes a tool for digital thinking. I aim to make learning math a rewarding journey.
