About Cecilia
Years of practice allow me to bridge the gap between complex jazz improvisation and the steady rhythms of classical repertoire. A soft C major chord resonates in the room as we begin to untangle hand independence and pedaling technique.
My Bachelor of Music Production from JMC Academy informs how I teach rhythm and expression. I have spent 3 years refining these methods. My expertise covers sight transposition and essential grade exam prep for ABRSM and Trinity levels.
You can count on me for ear training that feels natural. I enjoy watching students grasp these concepts.

Lessons feel like a relaxed conversation where we break down difficult pieces into manageable parts. The goal is 6.0 out of 6.0 in terms of clarity for every single concept we tackle during our time together. You receive a short recorded playback of each session so you can review the material at home whenever you need a refresher. This format helps you track your progress across 234 students who have walked this path before you.
My degree from JMC Academy ensures that even the most technical aspects of theory are explained simply. You will find that these recordings make practicing much more effective between our weekly meetings. I am ready to help you succeed.
