I care about guitar and music, and I care about people. I would be excited to come alongside you and help you in your musical goals. I have a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology, am very professional, and am great with people. I work well with kids, all the way through those picking up guitar later in life. I care that I provide the best lessons I can, celebrating the small goals and victories and providing steps to help you make progress in a way that feels encouraging and life-giving to you.

I'm a guitarist/songwriter/recording artist. I've been playing guitar for around 29 years and writing and releasing music for around 8 years. I love music, and I love people. I care about the musical journey of those who love music and decided to pursue it in any form. People have different reasons for playing guitar or writing music. Maybe it's simply creative or therapeutic. Maybe someone wants to learn some chords to play some of their favorite songs. Maybe someone wants to go further with it, like playing in a band, or wants to pursue writing/recording/releasing their own music. Whatever the case, it matters, and it can be good. We can connect with music, it can matter to us, and someone doesn't have to be a professional for music to matter to them. I desire to come alongside you and help you make progress on your musical journey. I will give you tools and ideas to help you progress, and I want to do so in a way that feels meaningful and life-giving to you. Along with being a musician, I have a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology and have experience providing mental health therapy to youth and adults. I work well with people. I seek to find the inner light shining in all of us, and to help fan it into flames. Thank you for reading this, and I hope to help you in your musical journey. Lessons are by Zoom, and my teaching days are Tuesday and Wednesday from 3pm to 7pm. Let's Play!
