About Emily

My name is Emily Kierscht, and I’m passionate about helping students discover a love for learning. I am a current elementary teacher with experience teaching multiple grade levels, including 2nd and 3rd grade, and I specialize in supporting students in both math and reading. As a tutor, I focus on creating a positive, encouraging environment where each child feels confident to take risks and grow. I tailor lessons to meet individual learning styles, ensuring that students not only strengthen foundational skills but also develop strategies they can carry with them in the classroom and beyond. I believe every child has the ability to succeed, and my goal is to make learning both effective and enjoyable. Whether it’s boosting reading comprehension, improving fluency, or building math problem-solving skills, I’m here to support students every step of the way.
