About Aseme
Hi! I’m Aseme, a Master’s student in Applied Health Sciences at Brock University, Canada. I have 10 years of experience as a clinical researcher and 15+ peer-reviewed journal publications. I support students and early-career researchers in Health Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, and related fields to design strong studies and produce clear, high-quality academic writing.
My approach is structured, practical, and supportive: we work directly on your real project (proposal, thesis, manuscript, or assignment), and you leave each session with concrete improvements and a clear plan.
About the lesson
I can help you at any stage of academic research and writing, including:
• Refining your research question and objectives (PICO/PEO)
• Selecting the right study design (quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods)
• Writing or improving the Methodology section (sampling, data collection, analysis plan)
• Planning and writing a strong literature review (structure + synthesis)
• Systematic & scoping reviews (eligibility criteria, PRISMA flow, screening workflow, data extraction templates, and search strategy basics: keywords/MeSH + Boolean logic)
• Academic writing support (clarity, academic tone, coherence/cohesion, paraphrasing to reduce plagiarism risk, APA-style guidance if needed)
• Editing + feedback with explanations (so you learn and improve)

Lesson format
Online sessions. Before our first session, you can share a short description of your topic and your main questions so we can focus immediately. You’ll leave with clear next steps and tangible outputs (revised text, an outline, or a research plan, depending on your goal).

In my 60-minute sessions, we work directly on your thesis, proposal, manuscript, or assignment. Each lesson is structured and goal-based: we clarify your main objective at the start, then focus on improving your work through tracked edits and clear explanations. You’ll leave with tangible outputs (revised paragraphs, an improved outline, or a clear research plan, depending on your goal) plus a short checklist of next steps.
To make the most of our time, please send your document (or key sections) and your main questions at least 12-24 hours before the session. This helps me review your content in advance and prepare targeted feedback.
I support both academic writing and research methodology. This can include refining your research question and objectives (PICO/PEO as appropriate), selecting the right study design (quantitative/qualitative/mixed methods), strengthening the Methodology section (sampling, data collection, analysis plan), and improving literature reviews through better structure and synthesis. For systematic/scoping review projects, I can guide eligibility criteria, PRISMA flow, screening steps, and data extraction templates.
Academic integrity: I provide coaching, feedback, and editing support. I do not write assignments on behalf of students, and I do not guarantee grades or publication outcomes.
