About Donya

Achieving a Distinction in my Master’s degree - I have spent the past three years tutoring academic essay writing, helping students reach their full potential. I support learners from Undergraduate to Master’s level, offering clear guidance, constructive feedback, and practical strategies to strengthen their writing and critical thinking. Alongside tutoring, I work as an interpreter in the legal and medical sectors, which has refined my communication skills and attention to detail. I’m a supportive, responsive tutor who is dedicated to my students’ progress and always happy to provide last-minute assistance when needed.

About the lesson

A Master’s Graduate with Distinction and an experienced academic writing tutor. Over the past three years, I’ve helped students improve their essays and dissertations across a wide range of subjects. I can support you with researching, generating ideas, structuring your work, and refining your academic writing style. Together, we’ll strengthen your arguments, improve clarity, and develop your critical thinking skills. I offer flexible support, whether through email feedback or 1:1 video tutorials. We can review sections of your work together, or I can provide detailed written feedback to guide your revisions. I’ve helped many students achieve first-class dissertations and A-grade essays, as well as significantly improve their confidence and writing skills. I can help you with: Planning & Structure Editing & Proofreading Academic Writing Style & Flow Grammar & Clarity Criticality & Argument Development Research, Referencing & Citations I work with students of all levels, from Undergraduate to Master’s, and have supported learners from diverse fields including Psychology, English Literature, History, Business, and more. In addition to tutoring, I work as an interpreter in the legal and medical sectors, which has strengthened my communication skills and ability to explain complex ideas clearly. I respond to messages quickly — usually within an hour — and am always happy to offer guidance and feedback outside lesson times.
