About Gurmeen
As an experienced IT professional with a rich background in systems engineering, digital transformation, and technical leadership, I am eager to bring my expertise into the educational realm, specifically in teaching subjects like mathematics, science, algebra, and computer science. My career thus far, particularly my role as an Operations Team Lead at Amazon, has been marked by the successful application of technical knowledge to solve complex problems, improve operational efficiencies, and drive innovation. This practical experience, underpinned by a strong theoretical foundation from a Global MBA in Information Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, equips me with a unique perspective that I am keen to share with students.
My technical skills, including Agile and Scrum frameworks, web development, Java functional development, data modeling, and visualization, are complemented by my experience in systems architecture design, network infrastructure planning, and digital transformation projects. These skills not only enable me to understand complex technical concepts but also to convey these concepts in an accessible and engaging manner to students.
Furthermore, my certifications in areas such as Java Programming, ITIL Foundation, and Strategy Analysis, alongside awards and recognitions, demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. I believe these qualifications would allow me to contribute significantly to an educational environment, fostering a space where students can learn the practical applications of theoretical knowledge.
In addition to my technical skills, my involvement in extracurricular activities, such as martial arts, event coordination, and stage performance, has honed my leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
