About Asavela
I am an actuarial analyst and I have been tutoring mathematics for the past 10 years mainly in high school. I also tutored at UCT first year mathematics. My aim is to help others see the practicality of mathematics, not just its mechanics.

I strongly recommend Asavela. He is not only very strong on technical skills (having achieved top accolades in the subject himself), but is also very passionate about mathematics and teaching the subject. He has good experience of teaching mathematics at high school level as well as tutoring mathematics to university students. He is able to explain complex topics in a manner that is easy to understand.
Having tutored alongside Asavela, I'd recommend him as he will challenge students to think on the own and come with own creative solutions to problems. He presents well for all students to understand irrespective of their academic strengths.
