About SUHARSHINI

Hello! I’m SUHARSHINI, a passionate and dedicated art teacher with a strong background in both creative arts and education. I hold a Diploma in Drawing, and I have experience teaching art to children and adults in fun, engaging, and skill-building ways. My goal is to nurture creativity, help students discover their unique artistic voice, and guide them through the wonderful world of colors, shapes, and imagination. With a warm, patient, and encouraging teaching style, I make sure every student feels supported—whether they're just starting or looking to sharpen their skills. I believe that art is not just about making pictures—it's about self-expression, confidence, and joy. My classes are designed to be both structured and flexible, balancing technique with freedom, and always focused on making learning enjoyable. With a blend of traditional methods and creative exploration, I help each student grow at their own pace and find pride in their progress. Watching my students create with happiness and confidence is the most rewarding part of my journey as an art teacher. Let’s create something beautiful together!

About the lesson

My teaching approach blends traditional drawing skills with modern, creative techniques. I focus on step-by-step guidance, hands-on practice, and visual demonstrations to help learners of all levels gain confidence in their artistic abilities. I use a mix of:

Pencil sketching, watercolors, oil pastels, acrylics

Live demonstrations

Reference-based and imagination-driven art

Creative challenges and art games to encourage free expression

Classes are structured to be interactive and student-centered, with individual feedback and encouragement for each learner.
Usual Class Structure:

Each class typically follows this flow:

Warm-up (5–10 mins): Quick sketches or color exercises

Lesson/Demo (15–20 mins): Introduction of the day’s topic or technique

Guided Practice (30–40 mins): Students work on their own artwork with my guidance

Sharing & Feedback (10 mins): We discuss artworks, offer positive feedback, and learn from each other
