About Alexis
I am a dedicated educator currently working in an autism support classroom, where I provide individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs. My experience has strengthened my ability to differentiate instruction, implement effective behavior strategies, and create a structured, supportive learning environment.
I specialize in early literacy, including phonics, reading comprehension, and foundational academic skills. I am passionate about helping students build confidence and make meaningful progress at their own pace.
As a tutor, I pride myself on being patient, reliable, and well-prepared for every session. I communicate clearly with families, set achievable goals, and tailor each lesson to meet the unique needs of the student. My goal is to not only improve academic skills but also help students feel successful, motivated, and confident in their abilities.
