About Reagan

Hello and welcome! I am passionate about helping learners grow in confidence, develop their skills and reach their full academic potential.

I hold a BEd Honours degree in Educational Psychology and have experience working as a remedial therapist, providing individualised academic and learning support to learners from Grade R to Grade 12. I have worked with learners with a variety of learning needs, including dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD and other academic challenges.

I believe every learner can make progress when they are given the right support, encouragement and opportunities to learn in a way that suits them. My approach is patient, supportive and tailored to each learner's individual needs, helping them develop both their academic abilities and confidence.

I look forward to supporting you or your child on your learning journey!

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is personalised, patient and learner-centred. With a background in Psychology and Education, a BEd Honours degree in Educational Psychology, and experience as a remedial therapist, I understand that every learner has unique strengths, needs and ways of learning.

I offer support in English, reading, spelling, comprehension, study skills and general academic development for learners from Grade R to Grade 12. I also have experience supporting learners with dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD and other learning difficulties.

My lessons are tailored to each learner's individual needs, learning level and goals. I use engaging activities, clear explanations, structured practice and positive reinforcement to strengthen foundational skills, improve understanding and build confidence. I aim to create a supportive environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning at their own pace.

During a typical lesson, we work towards specific learning goals, practise challenging concepts and reinforce skills to encourage progress and independence. I adapt my teaching strategies according to the learner's needs and communicate with parents where appropriate to support continued development.

I am passionate about helping learners recognise their abilities, overcome academic challenges and reach their full potential. My lessons are suitable for learners who need extra academic support, help strengthening foundational skills or a more individualised approach to learning.

I am proficient in English and can provide lessons in English.
