About Kiva

I have been teaching and tutoring math and science courses after school, at day camps the summer, and on-line for over 6 years. I love math and science and find it a wonderful way to introduce cross-discipline knowledge and support a curious mind especially from 8th grade school to the senior year of high school. I often personalize my lessons to fit the group or individual I’m teaching, so please don’t hesitate to reach about all math and science related questions.

About the lesson

Hello! I studied computer science and electrical engineering at UC Berkeley, and now I want to share my love of stats, logic, and mathematics with the world. Whether you need homework help or an introductory course, I’m here to outline concepts, do drills, and give real world examples on all math and physics subjects up fto early undergrad courses. My main strengths are in statistics, logic and discrete math, physics, calculus, and the natural sciences. A typical class with me includes defining terms and formulas, deriving from first principles, guided exercises and challenge questions or take-home work. Whatever your skill level, I’m excited to share the joy of learning and the beauty of math and science with you during this course!
