About Mati

Hi! I'm Mati. I'm fluent in English, Korean, and Thai, and I've been teaching English for over 15 years to students of various ages and backgrounds. As a parent of three children, I understand the importance of creating lessons that are engaging, supportive, and tailored to each learner's unique personality. My approach focuses on helping students strengthen reading comprehension, vocabulary, and writing skills while building confidence in communication. I believe learning should be enjoyable and inspiring, encouraging curiosity and creativity rather than pressure. With patience, empathy, and a touch of fun, I aim to help every learner express themselves clearly and confidently in today's multicultural world, developing a lifelong love for learning.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to feel less like a traditional classroom and more like a vibrant, interactive journey. Drawing from 15 years of experience and my own insights as a parent of three, I create a safe and high-energy space where children feel brave enough to make mistakes and grow. We dive into English through a blend of story-based reading, creative writing prompts, and vocabulary games that cater specifically to your child's interests and personality. By removing the pressure of 'perfect' grammar and replacing it with curiosity and empathy, I help my students develop a natural rhythm in their speech. Whether we are building foundational phonics or strengthening complex comprehension, my goal is to ensure your child leaves every session feeling proud, inspired, and one step closer to global fluency.
