About Conrad

I have been tutoring individuals and groups for over ten years both at schools and outside school. I have successfully tutored students who went on to achieve their targets at GCSE, A-Level and KS3. I am also an Economist within the civil service. I have a degree in Economics from Cambridge University and achieved A*s in Maths and Further Maths at A-level.

About the lesson

I use a child-centred teaching method to both develop your child's skills and confidence in Maths. As a result, parents normally see huge increases in their child's confidence in Maths and at school in general. I teach through examples and demonstrate the mathematical building blocks needed to excel at school and in exams. By providing support individually or in small groups I can directly target your child's weaknesses and build on their strengths.

Perfect! Conrad is everything I could ask for in a tutor - he is really helping me to consolidate my subject understanding of A-Level Maths by guiding me through exam-style questions set out in different contexts, as well as helping me learn from mistakes and ensuring I fully understand the topic/concept before moving on. I have observed several of Conrad's lessons and he has a very good manner with both children and more mature students, and puts a lot of effort into preparing his lessons. He sees things from his students' perspectives so that he can understand their difficulties and adjust his teaching methods. Most importantly, his students seem to enjoy his lessons very much.
