About Clement

I am a Canadian PhD researcher currently working as a Research Associate in the United States. I hold a PhD in Engineering from Canada and have extensive experience working in international academic and professional environments.

I have worked and studied in Canada, the United States, Germany, South Korea, and other international settings, so I understand firsthand how important clear and confident English communication can be in academic, professional, and everyday life.

As a tutor, I am patient, supportive, and attentive to each student's individual needs. I believe that students learn best when they feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and expressing themselves freely. My goal is not simply to teach you English, but to help you become a more confident and natural English speaker.

Whether you want to improve your conversation skills, prepare for an interview, communicate more effectively at work, or strengthen your academic English, I will tailor our lessons to your goals and level.

If you are looking for a knowledgeable but approachable tutor who will take your progress seriously, I would be happy to work with you.

About the lesson

**My Teaching Approach**

I believe learning English should be an engaging, practical, and enjoyable experience. My teaching approach is tailored to each student's individual goals, interests, and proficiency level. Whether you want to improve your everyday conversation, build confidence when speaking, or develop your academic and professional communication skills, I will help you make steady progress in a supportive and relaxed learning environment.

**How My Lessons Work**

My lessons are interactive and student-centered, with a strong emphasis on speaking, listening, vocabulary development, and natural communication. Rather than simply memorizing grammar rules, you will learn how to use English confidently in real-life situations.

A typical lesson includes:

* A short conversation to warm up and identify areas for improvement.
* Targeted vocabulary and grammar practice based on your needs.
* Interactive discussions, role-playing, and practical exercises.
* Personalized feedback on pronunciation, fluency, and sentence structure.
* A brief review of what we have learned and suggestions for further improvement.

**What Makes My Lessons Different?**

I hold a PhD in Engineering from Canada and currently work as a Research Associate at a university research center in the United States. Having studied and worked in international academic and professional environments, I understand the importance of effective communication in different cultural and professional settings.

I bring this experience into my teaching, helping students go beyond textbook English and develop the confidence to communicate naturally and effectively. I also enjoy discussing science, technology, business, culture, travel, and a wide range of other subjects, making our lessons both informative and engaging.

**Who Are My Lessons For?**

My lessons are suitable for:

* Beginners and intermediate learners looking to improve their English.
* Advanced students who want to refine their fluency and vocabulary.
* University students interested in academic English and presentations.
* Professionals preparing for meetings, interviews, and workplace communication.
* Anyone who wants to become a more confident and natural English speaker.

Whatever your current level or learning goals, I look forward to helping you improve your English, one conversation at a time!
