About Micha

As a certified and experienced educator with over seven years in the classroom, I am committed to helping students succeed academically and gain confidence in their abilities. I have taught a wide range of learners—from preschool to upper elementary—including students with diverse needs and learning styles. My background includes specialized experience supporting students with autism, and for the past five years, I’ve worked as a dedicated third-grade teacher. This has given me a strong foundation in both academic instruction and individualized student support. Professionalism, patience, and preparation are at the heart of every session I lead. I bring a deep understanding of literacy development, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping students master reading, writing, grammar, and test prep. I take pride in creating a calm, encouraging learning environment where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow. About the lesson

As a tutor, my approach is student-centered, adaptable, and focused on building confidence through clarity and connection. I tailor each lesson to the learner’s needs using a mix of direct instruction, guided practice, and engaging activities. Whether we’re working on reading comprehension, essay writing, or grammar, I break down complex skills into manageable steps and provide real-time feedback to help students grow. Each session begins with a quick review, followed by a focused objective and targeted instruction that supports independent learning.

With over seven years in education—including two years supporting preschoolers and students with autism, and five years as a third grade teacher—I bring a wide range of experience to the table. I specialize in helping K–12 students improve their reading, writing, literature analysis, test prep, and even resume building. What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students, support diverse learning needs, and make language arts meaningful and accessible for all learners.
