I would recommend Ms Shannon to many students who find themselves struggling. She is a very patient and understanding teacher. From my experience I never felt nervous in making mistakes or saying the wrong thing because she doesn't bring me down on the things I do not understand. She explains everything clearly to me and guides me to try again until I get it right. Conversation is easy and overall she gives a warm presence which I appreciate because I find that working with a teacher who only expects the right answer from you and nothing else, brings me down and makes me doubtful of my learning abilities.

I found her very helpful especially when I had my IGCSE English exams coming up. She gave me past papers to practice on and helped me review them when I was done. She also gave fair critiques on where I would need it, especially when writing essays. Overall, I found the practice very useful when I did the actual exams because a lot of her advice had helped me manage my time and plan out my essays in an orderly and clean fashion.

She is one of the best teachers that has helped me in my studies and I would recommend her to so many students who need help as well.
