About Peter

As a full-time maths educator, I work closely with parents as partners in building their child's numerical fluency and lasting problem-solving skills. My focus is on transforming maths-related anxiety into genuine confidence. Whether your child is wrestling with abstract concepts in algebra, preparing for demanding GCSE, A-Level, or IB courses, studying for high-stakes exams or university entrance, or needs to strengthen their foundational skills, I provide the patient and expert guidance they need. My role is to work alongside your family, ensuring your child has the robust mathematical foundation necessary for university and future STEM careers.

About the lesson

Recognizing that every student perceives maths differently, our journey begins by identifying their specific learning style and pinpointing any foundational gaps. Each lesson is carefully structured to make complex topics like algebra, geometry, and calculus feel intuitive and logical. We move beyond rote memorisation of formulae to focus on why they work, building a flexible problem-solving framework they can apply to any challenge. Whether your child is preparing for GCSE Maths, A-Level Maths or Further Maths, the IB Diploma, or university entrance, I tailor lessons to their specific curriculum requirements. The goal is to foster deep comprehension and lasting ability, resulting in higher marks and a student who is capable and confident in any quantitative subject they face.
