About Nahal

I am Nahal; writer, poet, avid reader, and English teacher. I have been tutoring students across multiple exam boards for over two years; standardised tests such as the SAT included. I also help with essay writing, provide writing support, and extra materials that are good supplements for the main lesson at hand. I teach English not as a language but as an art. I aspire to own a tiny bookshop at the corner of a small suburban street one day

About the lesson

I aim to cultivate a passion for language through developing critical thinking and writing skills. I believe in inspiring students through stories, and catering to their individual needs with care and compassion. Learning happens outside the classroom; therefore, my focus is also on assigning fun writing tasks that foster a love for English, for students to work on their own.

I'd highly recommend Nahal as your tutor. She makes long lessons fun and engaging. Doesn't just skim through topics but actually explains what's going on to the very core.

Nahal has demonstrated her in-depth knowledge of English on various occasions. I know this because I have studied with her at Habib University. She used to tutor kids while juggling her education. She would come up with unique strategies tailored perfectly according to each of her students and their particular needs. She's very dedicated and result-driven so she won't ever give up on you. Also, she speaks very gently and is great at getting her point across effectively. I always take feedback from her on my essays and assignments. The best thing about this process was that she worded her remarks carefully so as not to discourage me but still managed to make me realize where I was going wrong and provided me with tips to improve my writing. Speaking of which, she is an amazing writer too! I would recommend Nahal as a tutor to anyone struggling with English and I firmly believe she will help you out to the best of her capabilities and get you the grades you want.
