About Hamdan
I am an Engineer who spent a year of college and a year outside volunteering to teach students engineering topics like robotics and computer science. I find it very fun when I can get folks to participate in making their own examples when going over lessons. While volunteering I have not missed a day where I was healthy to show up in order to teach some lessons, and provide support (at some point the students got the ball rolling and I was just there to double-check their work). I find the work very rewarding, and challenging in a fun way.

My methodology includes a lot of teaching and guiding to find the right method/answer. I like applying a lot of real world examples (especially ones that are relatable) in order to teach lessons. Generally I would find a concept or topic, and then try and get the student interested in that topic (for example, if its algebra or statistics, I can show them how it is used in games that they may play), and while doing that introduce them on how to use it. I am good at getting students interested in the topic which often leads to them excelling at the topic. I am interested in teaching middle school, and high school students, but I am open to teaching freshmen college students in math, computer science and engineering topics.
