About Letchel

Hi there! My name is Letchel. I've been a certified TEFL tutor for 4 years and a licensed professional teacher from the Philippines for 3 years. I teach English as a second language to my Chinese students, ranging in age from 5-6 years old to 90 years old. I've also been an English trainer for Business English online school for my Japanese working professionals and other clients in diverse cultures, like Korean, Indonesian, and others, in many parts of the world for 2 years now. Some of my clients booked a lesson with me requesting me to help them practice delivering presentations in a business meeting, may it be for business trips, interview practice, or email writing. I'm also an English moderator for Vietnamese and Thai, helping them communicate in English and business through conversational English.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is centered around interactive and student-focused learning. I utilize a combination of the communicative approach and task-based learning, emphasizing real-life communication and practical usage of language. This means that instead of solely focusing on grammar rules, I encourage students to engage in conversations, role-plays, and activities that mimic real-world situations. I also integrate multimedia resources, such as videos and articles, to enhance understanding and keep lessons engaging.

Maam Letchel was one of the best teachers i've ever had in highschool— even up to this day. She always comes to class prepared and gives us quality education. Other than her commendable skills as a professional teacher, she was also one of those who treated us as her children and was kind hearted.

Teacher Letchel is not just a teacher but also a family to me. She was the reason why my confidence was boosted. She has a lot of patience and determination in her work. She's also open with suggestions and listens a lot. She became my second mother throughout my studies, and I'm super thankful that I met her. So much love for her.ᥫ᭡.
