About Calista

My name is Calista Mtembu. I am currently an English major studying at the University of Cape Town. My passion for teaching stemmed from helping my little brothers with their homework, and being asked to proofread my classmates’ essays. This really shone a light on my knack for the English language.

About the lesson

My lessons focus on creating a fun environment that relieves you of the pressure associated with learning! There isn’t an emphasis on the right or wrong answer, but rather on understanding the material for future success. This would entail various activities that show the practicality of English and its flexibility.
