About Nick
I am a student at the Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics. I enjoy playing the Violin and the guitar in my free time. I enjoy engineering, chemistry and business and I hope to pursue a combination of the three for my career. I deeply enjoy learning about other cultures and I am fluent in German, Italian and obviously English:). Additionally to those I will be taking AP French next year. Lastly I also like to stay physically active by playing tennis as well as going to the gym.

When tutoring I like to start out by looking over the homework packets and notes that are given by the teacher. I do this because I have found that when I am able to help a student understand the methods used by their teachers, it leads to a better long term participation and understanding for the subject.
Additionally I have found that creating worksheets that contain problems specific to the topic a student is struggling with, can be very helpful.
On a broader scale when tutoring I try to show other students the study methods that I have used to achieve my academic goals.
What ultimately sets me apart from other tutors is my experience learning and teaching math in different countries school systems.
